Digital Technologies Professional Learning Symposium 2008
The Digital Technologies Professional Learning Symposium was a key event in the development phase of the Digital Technologies Guidelines project. The Centra Auckland Airport Hotel provided an idyllic venue for the symposium; with up to 170 participants in attendance over the two days.
The inaugural event was an inclusive approach to enhance the teaching and learning of Digital Technologies in our secondary schools. The purpose of the symposium was to bring together education, industry and tertiary representatives and provide a catalyst for open communication and developing partnerships, using the digital technologies guidelines as a platform.
The symposium provided participants with a blueprint for future professional sharing and development in this area. It also enabled our classroom practitioners to co-construct future learning pathways through the digital technologies guidelines process.
Cognition, along with the key partners would like to thank all those who participated, actively facilitated workshops and provided their expertise and experience to enrich this event.
